Funds

The following is a list of funds to which you can donate regularly or every now and then:

THE USMA 1994 CLASS GIFT FUND

The Class of 1994 Gift fund is managed by WPAOG for Class of 1994.  All donations are tax deductable.  The Class of 1994 votes on how to best use the funds in making the Academy a gift.  A simple majority of active class voters required.  To donate to the Class Gift Fund go the AOG Site.

On the form, select your "Designation" as "I don't see my designation (e.g. Class Gift Fund)" and then in the Other field enter in "Class of 1994".  This will allow you to create a one time or reoccurring donation to the Class of 1994 Class Fund by Credit Card.

If you would like to have a payroll deduction (for active duty only) you will need to contact your Finance Department.  For a checking account deduction, please cotnact WPAOG Office of Development at development@wpaog.org or 800-BE A GRAD x1505 or 845-446-4505.

THE USMA 1994 CLASS ADMINISTRATIVE FUND

The Class of 1994 Admin Fund is managed by the AOG for the Class of 1994. The Class leadership votes on use of these funds with authority given by Class President and Treasurer to disburse funds. This fund is used to pay for reservations for Class Reunions, flowers for funerals for deceased classmates, donations of $500 per individual child for survivors of deceased classmates, class administrative expenses such as conference calls, mailings, etc. Donations are not tax deductible.

To donate to the Class Administrative Fund, you can write a check payable to the Class of 1994 and in the memo section you can indicate that you wish to done to the Class Administrative Fund. Send checks to: West Point Association of Graduates, ATTN: Finance Office, 698 Mills Road, West Point, NY 10996-1607. 

THE WEST POINT FUND

The West Point Fund was established in 1961. Originally called the Superintendent's Fund, the West Point Fund is administered by the Association of Graduates. The Fund allows the Academy latitude in determining where donated funds can best be applied to meet institutional needs. 

Donations are tax deductible provided the donor does not receive gifts and services in exchange. Memory Book donations are a means of raising funds for this fund as well. The Memory Book is established to record the memories or well-wishes for a classmate (usually deceased) and is maintained on the second floor at Herbert Hall (The AOG Building).

THE LONG GRAY LINE ENDOWMENT

Gifts to the Long Gray Line Endowment will help maintain the current level of support to cadet and graduate programs and allow the expansion of support the individual graduate, classes, and West Point Societies. Gifts can be made to the Long Gray Line Endowment Fund through the Annual Drive, Class Giving, through the Memory Book, Planned Giving, or by just sitting down and writing a check.
