15 Year Class Reunion Announcement

Dates/Timing
Our 15th Reunion is scheduled for the weekend of Thursday 01 OCT 2009 through Sunday 04 OCT 2009.
Tentative Schedule
The tentative schedule is attached in a pdf file. Keep in mind this schedule is subject to change. There are some notable variations from our 10th year reunion. Class banquets are now held on Friday nights due to fact that the football schedule can change a few weeks prior to the date due to the television contract. So, our class banquet will be held on Friday 02 OCT 2009 night at the hotel (see below for details). Also, our class and the other classes holding their respective reunions that weekend are invited to play in a golf tournament at the USMA golf course on Thursday afternoon 01 OCT 2009. Space is extremely limited so please let us know immediately if you would like to be involved. More details will be available on that as we get them.
Costs / Fees
The final budget has yet to be worked out (see the “Assistance” section below) but you should expect that the registration cost per person will be in the range of $50 - $100. Other fees for various events and/or buses will be a la carte and will be chosen by you depending on the events in which you want to participate.
Lodging
The Class of 1994 has selected the Park Ridge Marriot Hotel located at 300 Brae Boulevard in Park Ridge, New Jersey 07656 for our lodging. The hotel is located just off the Garden State Parkway about thirty minutes from West Point. The special room rate is $125 per night (plus tax), single or double occupancy. We have a block of rooms reserved for each of the nights.
Please note, you must make your own room reservations. Please do so as soon as possible to ensure you get a spot in the block of rooms. Call Marriott general reservations at (800) 882-1038 and ask for the “West Point Class of 1994” rate at the Park Ridge Marriott hotel. Alternatively, you may call the Park Ridge Marriott hotel directly at (201) 307-0800. One night's deposit to a credit card is required and is refundable if canceled in advance.
Please reserve only the number of nights you definitely will need at the hotel. This will allow you to avoid no-show, double-booking, or early checkout fees and will help us accommodate every classmate who needs a room at this popular hotel. The hotel manager will keep our rooms blocked until Friday August 14, 2009, but it is possible they will fill completely before then. Once again, we recommend making your reservations as soon as possible. If this hotel fills up, we may have overflow space at a nearby hotel but we will not know that until this one fills up.

Assistance
We are looking for classmates who would like to be involved with the reunion in planning some of the different events. Specifically, we need help planning (i) the banquet, (ii) the class memorial service, (iii) the tailgate, (iv) the post game party, (v) the budget committee and other potential items. Please respond to this email or me at ted@pointcap.com to let me know if you would like to be involved. The reunion will be much more successful if more people are involved. Please think about helping.
